Built for Malaysian roads

Know the way.
Know the toll.

OpenTuju is open navigation for Malaysia. Search places and plan car routes right on your phone, compare the fastest route with a toll-free one, and see what each plaza will charge before you leave.

Features

Everything for the drive, nothing you don't need.

Made around how people actually drive in the Klang Valley, the peninsula and Borneo.

Three routes, side by side

Compare the fastest route, a toll-free route when the fastest one uses tolls, and other options that really are different. Tap a grey line on the map to pick it.

Toll fares by plaza

Class 1 fares from LLM, broken down per plaza. If a fare isn't known, the app says so and doesn't count it as free.

Private by design

Search and routing use OpenStreetMap data bundled with the app. Where you search and where you're going never go to an outside API.

Turn-by-turn, in two languages

Voice and on-screen guidance in English or Bahasa Melayu, covering forks, exits, merges and numbered roundabout exits.

Rerouting that keeps up

Missed a turn? OpenTuju plans a new route right away, keeps your screen on, and shows your arrival time and how far you've come.

Klang Valley to Borneo

Separate road packs for the Klang Valley, the peninsula and Borneo, each loaded only when you need it.

How it works

From search to sampai in three taps.

Search or drop a pin

Find a place, alias or address, or long-press anywhere on the map.

Pick your route

Compare time, distance and tolls, or choose “Avoid tolls” to plan again without them.

Tap Start

Follow the arrow, the voice prompts and the next-turn banner the whole way.

Coming soon

On your phone and in your browser, soon.

OpenTuju is an early preview and hasn't been road-tested. Travel times use road speeds rather than live traffic, and toll fares are published Class 1 rates. Check your route before you rely on it.
